Live Arts Pacific, Inc. was founded by Fumiko Eda in New York to produce and manage theatrical productions as well as cross-cultural events. It provides quality live arts that specialize in interfacing Eastern and Western cultures by being a liaison between Japanese and the US’s cultural communities.
Live Arts Pacific is committed to producing and supporting productions that empower audiences.
Theatrical productions: Masked (Off-Broadway), Chandeleirva (Fringe NYC), The Sound of One Hanna
Clapping (Dir. Ana Gasteyer, starring Hanna LoPatin) and a staged reading of So Happy I Could Scream!:
the Motherhood Musical (starring Ann Harada, Allyson Tucker-Mitchell, Barbara McCulloh and Melanie Kann).
Other projects: Publicity for Ensemble Origin Japan Concert (Carnegie Hall); arranged and directed staged cooking demonstrations and a tasting by David Bouley of “Bouley,” Mathew Hoyle of “Nobu Fifty Seven” and Anita Lo of “Annisa” for the press event, Recipe for Inspiration: Quality Ingredients from Japan, organized by The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan.

Fumiko started her career as an actress in Japan. She then took a job with Pias Corp., a major cosmetics company in Japan, and subsequently led a project team in its Marketing & Communications Department for over five years. She came to New York in 2001 to focus on her career as a theatrical producer.
Before Fumiko founded Live Arts Pacific in New York, she worked as the project coordinator at Gorgeous Entertainment, a New York-based theater and special event production company, where she managed events for the Japanese Food Cultural Festival in New York, visual arts exhibition, Spirit of the East at the United Nations Visitors' Gallery and a concert by Asian Artists and Concerts at the General Assembly Hall at the UN, among other projects. In addition, she facilitated production and merchandising licenses for the Japanese language productions of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Anna Karenina and Golf the Musical.
Fumiko is a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute 14-week producing program and holds a Masters degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University. She is a member of the Broadway League (formerly the League of American Theaters and Producers) and Theater Resources Unlimited.
